THE EQUIPMENT

The DJI Matrice 210 RTK with the Zenmuse XT, X4s and Z30 make up our inspection arsenal. The ability to fly in rain and weather as cold as -20C make this equipment ideal for Canadian weather. With optical zoom of up to 30 times and a 19mm thermal camera lens a safe stand-off range can be maintained while still getting the detail needed.

THE FLIGHT OPERATIONS

With flight times over 20 minutes and a range limited by line of sight alone, kilometers of right-of-way can be covered with a single battery. Using our mobile ground station we can travel up to 12 kilometers per day  over average BC terrain.

THE IMAGES

visual and thermal images of each structure and their individual components are taken. These images are automatically tagged with location for later reference. Real-time data streams down to the Pilot and payload operators allow for in flight adjustments to thermal and visual images to ensure the best data is captured during inspections.

THE RESULTS

Our level 1 thermographer and engineering technicians process the inspection data by structure, grouping visual and thermal data into pass of fail categories. All structures with failing  inspection points receive a report detailing it's location, point of failure and the date and time of the observed condition.
